CORNELIANI, A MODERN MARCO POLO

CORNELIANI, A MODERN MARCO POLO

After the roaring ‘20s of the previous season, inspired by Gatsby, Corneliani’s man plunges into a totally opposite, meditative atmosphere like the Eastern one, and for this reason he dresses  in neutral colors or a soothing deep blue for spring / summer 2014. But every journey has a starting point and for the Corneliani’s man that point is the city of origin of Sergio Corneliani, creative director of the brand, who steals from Mantegna the decorative element of the interlinked  circles which he even imprints on the light leather thanks to the laser machining. From there he is off to Sumatra and Shanghai and the souvenirs become the guru neck of the jacket with visible stitching, the silk or linen transparencies. From the East, this traveler returns in fact  brighter than ever.
