AN ALL ITALIAN TOP FIVE: TOP MODELS

Gone are the days when just uttering the word top model brought to the mind the stride of Naomi, the sweetness of Claudia, the mole of Cindy. The idea of supermodel, in the last twenty years, has changed along with the trends; art and fashion have created a new "idea of beauty".
If before the Top models’ supreme and iconic beauty was an all-female concept, it is now evident that even men’s faces have their own happy oasis in the Olympus of the fashion industry and in the art of photography.
The first to arrive were the Brazilians, carved out of  rocks, then the thin Eastern and Northern Europe boys.
Lately, however, also Italy has its beautiful parterres of emerging super models. We have identified five and we're sure you'll hear about them in the future: Simone Nobili, with a good boy clean face and a sharp gaze, he got Dolce and Gabbana and Givenchy advertising campaigns and also shot a commercial for Armani. The ephebic Paolo Anchisi is in turn the face of Dsquared and Balmain Homme. Elia Cometti showed for Dolce and Gabbana and King George. Andrea Preti and Samuele Visentin have become the favorite subjects for some of the most influential photographers in the world.
