VIVIENNE WESTWOOD – BOHEMIAN MAN

VIVIENNE WESTWOOD – BOHEMIAN MAN

Vivienne Westwood loves to play with symbols, icons, models, preferably English, but this time is the French painting "Le Dejeuner sur l'Herbe" by Manet to influence the designer and Andreas, her working half for the man collection. Here comes a bohemian breeze for next spring/summer: the nineteenth-century white shirt with its wide sleeves tight at the wrists, the very wide brim hat, gold pins shaped like a butterfly pinned on the more traditional garments, the braces which evoke an impressionist painter painting in the outdoor, wreaths on the forehead. The color palette is stolen from the painting and so from a natural landscape, except for the usual checked or gray clothes.
