PRADA - THE MAN STARTS FROM SCRATCH

Maybe just like Italo Svevo wrote, only a total destruction could be the key to evolution, the same thing  must have thought Miuccia Prada for spring/summer 2013 for which she chooses the path of destruction rather than reinvention. So here is the need to build new men's wardrobe and provide it with a strong foundation, the accessories are of secondary importance, they are almost absent: the garments  become solid pieces, modules defined by different colors (blue, burgundy, black, white, gray) and overlap each other, blazers, trousers, t-shirts and tank tops are pieces of fabric perfectly squared, the edges of contrasting colors separate the upper part from the low one, or mark the inside rather than the outside of the trousers. Nevertheless Prada’s man is still a snob and also in the most apparent simplicity of the humble sandal worn with socks he chooses the thin cashmere, which looks like, but it isn’t, cotton.
