TOBIA SETTEN

Otto Noni was born out of a desire to experiment, express ideas, and value a personal vision. The name Otto Noni derives from the ancient Egyptian concept of the "squaring of the circle." For the Egyptians, it represented the realization of creation, encapsulating the process of transforming the idea of creation into its tangible manifestation.

This concept has been creatively reinterpreted, as the starting point is the theoretical notion of creation. Through a personal, developed process, we arrive at the concrete realization of this creation. The key elements that have shaped the reasoning around the creative process are space, form, and matter. During the creative process, three forms of manipulation are employed: on a mannequin, digitally, and on paper. At the end of this creative journey, an idea will materialize, ready to be placed in a space, take on a form, and consist of matter.
